For the last week I had been feeling really sick. I missed a couple of days at gym because I was so ill. I napped instead and thankfully it paid off because I feel so much better.
I made it back to the gym today. It’s amazing but even after being away for only a week I noticed a difference. It was as though my muscles went into a snooze mode. Lifting some of the weights again felt good and it felt like I was getting active again. It served as a good reminder about building momentum with activites. No matter what activities you are doing, if you break that routine, it can easily break the flow and enertia you have going. And for those who may be reading and thinking about becoming more active, just think that getting started is he hardest part. Once you get going, you’ll build you own momentum too!
